Out, out, brieh candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing
Spegniti, spegniti, breve candela!
La vita non è che un’ombra che cammina, un povero attore
che si atteggia e si agita sulla scena per la sua ora,
e poi non se ne sente più nulla. E’ un racconto
raccontato da un idiota, pieno di rumore e di furore,
che non significa nulla.
